Rev. Jim Lee

Rev. Jim Lee is an inspirational, international speaker and teacher, who is passionate about the power of Truth teachings to transform the planet. Prior to entering the ministry, Jim was a successful National Marketing Representative with IBM. During this time, he was very involved in community programs. His mission for transforming lives began in 1986 with his position as Executive Director of Youth at Risk where he served the needs of inner city youth.

Inspired to pursue ministry, he completed Unity School for Religious Studies in 1994 and subsequently serviced on the Board of Trustees for Unity World Wide Ministries including the role of chair for one year.

He is a former leadership council member of Association of Global New Thought (AGNT) organized to give a voice to progressive spirituality on the international level and to collaborate with other faith based organizations to promote healing.

For the past 5 years, Jim has been the lead organizer for the Compassionate Cities of Southeast Michigan, an international campaign designed to establish the golden rule throughout every segment of culture.

Jim is currently senior minister at Renaissance Unity, a progressive spiritual community with over 1600 members locally and internationally.

Rev. Anna J. Shouse, Ph.D.

Rev. Anna Shouse, Ph.D. is a down to earth, well-respected spiritual leader who has experienced first-hand the power of God to transform lives.   Her workshops, classes, and presentations are known for bringing participants into deep understanding of metaphysical principles and the ability to apply them to everyday situations.  Ordained a Unity minister in 1995, Rev. Anna has served congregations in Kansas, Washington, and Texas both as a Senior Minister and as a Transitional Minister, and has been active in leadership in the Unity movement.  She is dedicated to the development of healthy, vibrant relationship with God, self, and others and healthy sustainable community through the integration of inclusive New Thought Christian spirituality with sound psychological and recovery principles.  Rev. Anna’s warmth, intelligence, and humor engage congregations in experiencing God’s presence in their midst, supporting them as they face change and develop effective ways of creating community.  Rev. Anna is the Senior Minister of Unity of Austin, the founder of Soul Matters Consulting Ministry, the enthused host of Spirit of Recovery—The Place Where Spirituality and Recovery Meet at www.unityonlineradio.org.  She is also a member of the faculty of the Unity Urban Ministerial School where she teaches courses in self-awareness and recovery.  Rev. Shouse holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Communication and Human Relations from the University of Kansas and an M.A. in Addictions Counseling from the Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies.


Canda Lambert

Canda is a composer, singer, musician and four-time Regional Emmy winner in Broadcast Design. Through her study of Neurobiology and the effects of music on the human body she brings her passion for the unifying, healing powers of music to Unity Church of Tidewater. She is also co-founder of Bright Lights – Sacred Ceremonies and Workshops®.






Bill Brooks

Bill Brooks is an award-winning voice and recording artist, performer, producer, director, teacher, Co-minister of Unity in Grapevine, Texas and guest artist for the IAMU 2017 Conference.

Since 1971, Bill and his brother, Randy, performing with the musical group, The Brooks Brothers, have recorded 25 albums and had three top 40 hits in gospel and country music.  Bill was voted Entertainer of the year in Texas by the Country Music Revue Association for six consecutive years. He has also had principle roles in some renown theatrical productions including Annie Get Your Gun, Man of La Mancha, The Music Man and many others. Bill has worked charity events with the legendary Bob Hope and shared MC duties with Dick Clark during the judging of a Miss Universe Pageant in Las Vegas.

In 2004, Bill was Project Director for the theatrical production “The Promise” presented in the Olympic Stadium in Seoul, South Korea. Currently he is the producer of the popular musical, “His Life,” based on the life of Jesus.

Bill has been involved in Unity for more than 30 years. He was one of the founders of the Unity church in Branson, Missouri and currently serves as Co-Minister of the Center of Unity in Grapevine, Texas.  Bill’s gives freely of his spirit and musical talents which we are blessed to enjoy as he helps us to “Build Bridges through Music.”
